Our Classes

Each week in class we work on creating routines that will be performed in our shows throughout the year. These shows however are NOT compulsory, and you can still have the time of your life making new friends, improving your fitness and increasing your confidence in class, even if you choose to not perform!

  • Beginner heels classes

    The perfect place to start your heels dance journey with Burlesque L’amour. Build your confidence in dance, and dancing in heels, with our beginner heels classes. You’ll learn the basic fundamentals and techniques to assist you in dancing in heels. You will also work towards completing a beginner heels routine in a safe and empowering environment, led and choreographed by one of our experienced choreographers. Performance opportunities are available for all beginner heels classes.

  • Intermediate to Advanced heels classes

    Intermediate to advanced heels will challenge you further in your dance experience with Burlesque L’amour whilst still holding such a safe and empowering space for you to express yourself. Your experienced instructor will guide and support you in these classes, furthering your technique as well as choreographing routines for performance opportunities.

  • Showgirls Class

    This is an invitation-only class with paid performance opportunities available.

  • Tease Heels Class

    Our Tease Heels Class will leave you feeling super sensual, empowered, sexy, and feminine. This class is guaranteed to have you feeling hot and sexy. You will be working with props such as chairs, while your experienced instructor will guide you through some sensual floor work. Knee pads are recommended. Performance opportunities are available.

  • Fierce Heels Class

    Leave this class strutting through life a little taller. The ultimate class for feeling FIERCE, strong and powerful. Sass up your life with this fierce heels class. Performance opportunities are available.

  • Traditional Burlesque Tease Class

    This class is very sensual, cheeky and focuses on the art of traditional Burlesque Tease. In this class, performances are done topless with nipple covers or tassels and lots of sparkle and glam. Think “Dita Von Teese”. It is increadibly empowering and you are surrounded by like-minded women in a safe and nurturing environment. Bring a little cheekiness into your life with this specialised class. Performance opportunities are available.

  • Traditional Feather Fan and Headpiece Burlesque Class

    Another specialised class bringing the art of Burlesque into your life. Glitz, glam, Dita Von Teese and Vegas showgirls inspired this class. Although slightly more preparation when it comes to showtime due to acquiring fans and costumes, it is well worth it. Come find out for yourself! Performance opportunities are available.
